Stuart Timmiss is currently Executive Director of Place, Economy and Environment at West Northants Council,  where he is part of the executive management team bringing together the new unitary council following vesting day in April 2021.

His background is in place based service across a range of north east councils including Sedgefield, Gateshead and more recently Durham.  Stuart has significant experience in leading change and delivery including a number of large  scale developments, working in partnership on an national, regional and local level.
