Robinson Management Services Ltd. are proud to have recently provided ISO consultancy services to enable Advanced Precision Technologies Ltd to achieve certification to ISO9001 and ISO14001.

Based in Chatteris, Advanced Precision Technologies Ltd was established in 2021 by former Mercedes Benz HPE employee Thomas White.

Over the last year the company has experienced exponential growth which has led to significant investment in new software and machinery to enable them to enhance their ability to supply CNC machined components and manufacturing support services. They operate in a number of precision engineering sectors, including Motorsport, (R&D) Automotive, and medical devices.

RMS consultants worked with the Advanced Precision Technologies team to implement the requirements of ISO9001 and ISO14001 while also incorporating key customer requirements mandated in their supplier qualification questionnaires.

A bespoke Quality and Environmental Management System (QEMS) was established, incorporating company policies, key processes, a risk management framework, operational controls and objectives and KPI’s to ensure the business is able to manage risk and drive continual improvement based on automotive standards and best practices.

As a result of the implementation of ISO standards, Advanced Precision Technologies have benefited from:
– A framework based on industry best practices and embeds a set of processes, controls and measures that ensure effective management of risks and opportunities, thus driving continual improvement in quality and environmental performance.
– Aligned quality and environmental management of strategic business objectives, resulting in improved overall performance based on business risk and priority.
– Effectively identified and managed risks to people, processes and the working environment.

In February 2024, third party audit of the QEMS was conducted by ISOQAR, a UKAS accredited certification body.

Following a thorough assessment of the Advanced Precision Technologies QEMS and its implementation, ISOQAR recommended Advanced Precision Technologies for certification to the ISO9001:2015 & ISO14001: 2015 Standards with no non conformities raised in the assessment.
