If you’re responsible for recruiting and retaining leaders in your business, we’re creating a Community of Practice just for you at The People Leader Forum, Silverstone, 23rd September at 4.30pm.
“What does that even mean?” say you. What even is a Community of Practice?
A community of practice (CoP) is defined by ChatGPT as “a group of individuals who share a common interest, passion, or profession and come together to engage in collective learning and knowledge sharing” It’s a concept attributed to Etienne Wenger and Jean Lave in the early 1990s.
CoPs have enormous benefit across leadership populations where lots of people are wrestling with shared challenges – like People Leaders in STEM who are all trying to:
– Attract talented leadership potential and then
– Keep ‘em!
There’s common ground, shared interest, overlapping passion projects and similar hassles. There’s rich hunting ground for ideas and insights that others have tried and found useful.
The quarterly People Leader Forum in Silverstone is led by Executive Clearworks Coaches to ensure the facilitation is effective, powerful and efficient.
If you lead a People Team and can get to Silverstone for a meeting on 23rd September at 4.30pm, you may find this CoP really beneficial to solving your trickiest challenges.
Read more about it here and we hope to see you at The Hilton Garden Hotel at Silverstone Circuit. The investment is £75 + VAT and booking is essential.
So what do I get for my money?
