Rux Energy, an Australian company innovating in advanced nanomaterials, has called on Silverstone Technology Cluster business members to aid its development of hydrogen usage in automotive, aviation and marine applications.

The company’s founder and CEO Dr Jehan Kanga reached out during the STC’s Innovation and Growth Conference.

During his presentation, Dr Kanga said: “We are looking for partners in the Silverstone Technology Cluster – partners who can help us refine our prototypes, test our prototypes and we’re also looking for trial partners.

“So if you’re building hydrogen cars, hydrogen trucks, hydrogen aeroplanes and other types of aviation vehicles, hydrogen marine vessels or baulk systems for pipelines or packaged gas distribution – tank manufacturing, for example – we want to talk.

“We want to build together and we look forward to you reaching out and building collaborations.”

STC CEO Pim van Baarsen said the fact a company at the cutting edge of technology based outside Europe had made such an appeal was significant.

Pim commented: “It speaks volumes for the high regard in which the expertise of the STC network is held that a company located on the other side of the world would actively seek to find potential new partners from amongst our membership.

“Rux Energy is leading the way in the advancement of renewable energy in key growth sectors such as automotive, aviation and marine and the opportunity for some of our business members to work with them is very exciting.”
