We’re so proud of our CEO, Pim van Baarsen, for taking part in Strictly Brackley, to raise money for Cancer Research, in memory of his mum. This ballroom dancing competition will see Pim partnered up with a pro dancer for 8 weeks of training before taking to the stage on 23 March to compete in front of the judges, and an even judgier audience, for the prestigious glitter ball.

Pim explained his reason for taking on this challenge: “The end of January 2024, marks 15 years since my mum passed away due to the effects of cancer. To honour her, and the many other friends and family members that have fought, or are fighting this terrible disease, I’m taking part in Strictly Brackley 2024.”

This video is Pim’s training session from Week 2. If that’s anything to go by, he should be flying around that floor on Show Night! He’s clearly a natural (who knew?)!

“Those who know me, will know that this is not in my comfort zone. In fact, I am so far outside of it, I can’t even see it from here!” joked Pim.

“May all the gods be with whomever I am partnered with and trains me. Please support me on my journey and come and watch me in the final show (it will be more slapstick comedy than dancing for me, I suspect).
