D2H is an engineering consultancy with skills and capabilities across three main sectors. Aero/thermal analysis and simulation, mechanical and composite design, software and controls system development. Our capabilities have been applied to business sectors including high performance sports, aerospace, construction industry equipment, motorsports, and automotive sectors, predominantly working with OEM and tier 1 suppliers.

Our engineers utilise best in class simulation and design tools, like Ansys
Fluent for aero/thermal CFD. With in-house developed tools to enhance efficiencies in getting aero projects started through to access to large HPC clusters for fast solves our aim is to provide accurate aero/thermal analysis, quickly and cost effectively.

In design, Siemens NX and SimCenter tools are utilised for mechanical and composite component development on a diverse range of projects, including large fabrications for calibration machinery through to small finely toleranced hydraulic components. Our simulation and analysis tools allow for linear and non -linear FE analysis and composite laminate development with ply optimisation, providing manufacturing information for accurate laminate production.

D2H have the capability to develop software tools for clients to assist and support bespoke software requirements across tools like SQL, JavaScript, Python, and various C based languages with web based, cloud hosted tools a speciality. Control systems for on vehicle embeded systems using CAN or bespoke tools such as Cosworth or Motec systems can also be coded along with industry standard formats like PLC ladder logic.
