Our product is a Structural Battery, an energy source for electric vehicles, which is an integrated part of the structure of the vehicle. The SB Co works across Aerospace, Automotive, Defence, Maritime and Motorsport industries to provide solutions that are tailored to our customers’ needs. We operate in a business-to-business fashion, supplying our products as an integrated component of our customers’ products.

Using structural batteries reduces complexity and weight, whilst improving available space and allowing more scope for aesthetic design.

We work with our customers to design the structural element for their vehicle, whether this is a car chassis, a boat hull, or an aeroplane wing. The product is particularly appropriate for composite designs, sharing many features with traditional honeycomb panels.
