Leading Motorsport and Automotive Engineering company One Group Engineering have announced that they are joining forces with Engstler Motorsport for an assault on the 2024 Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS. The team will field a single Audi R8 LMS GT3 evo II in the Gold class of the Fanatec GT Sprint Cup with Luca Engstler and Max Hofer sharing the driving duties.
Established in 1996 Engstler Motorsport are one of the most successful professional racing teams in Europe having achieved success across many disciplines including Touring Cars and GT cars. Representing many leading automotive brands the team has secured over 30 championship titles.
One Group Engineering was established in 2016 by Ron Hartvelt and has quickly grown to undertake multiple engineering and customer sport programmes. Ron’s extensive experience covers many aspects of motorsport including Formula One, DTM, Super Touring and TCR where he has achieved huge success including 15 World Championship titles.
Engstler and One Group started working together in DTM during 2023, for 2024 One Group will oversee all engineering matters and provide operational support to the Engstler team.
